剧情：韩国战争结束之后小白山脈天王峰脚底下的一个村落，男人们因为战争而死去使得这里变成了寡妇村。有一天智异山共军奎福（申荣均 饰）来到了村子，詹礼（朱宗女 饰）帮助他隐藏起来，二人的心也自然而然地走近了。不久关于来了一个男人的新闻开始在村子里到处传开了，两人的关系最终被跟踪詹礼的司月（度金凤 饰）所发现，她以告发奎福来威胁，使得奎福和她发生关系。不久之后剿灭共匪的扫荡展开了，奎福藏身的林子却突然燃起了山火，为了躲避山火而逃出森林的奎福最终被子弹击中身亡。

Plot：In the early 1950s when Korea is still at war, Kyu Bok who escaped from the North Korean People's Army secretly sneaks into a small village in the mountainside. This village has turned into a widowed village due to the war and widows Jum Rye and Sa Wol live across from one another. Jum Rye had to take care of her mother-in-law who was also a widow, a dote grandfather-in-law, and a sister-in-law. Sawol lives with her mother. Sawol's husband was a soldier from the South and Jum Rye's was a soldier from the North, making the two women hostile towards one another.
